Eligible Applicants

Registered apprenticeship programs that registered or expanded into a new occupation on or after July 1, 2019.

Registered apprenticeship programs actively training one or more apprentice(s), fully registered with the Florida Department of Education, no later than 90 days after award letter.

The application period for Mini-Grant #1 is now closed.  Applicants will be contacted via email once award decisions have been made.

Grant Scope

Capacity building and outreach to underrepresented populations

Grant Performance Period

Date of award through June 30, 2022.

Eligible Applicants

Florida registered apprenticeship programs with active apprentices fully registered with the Florida Department of Education, who have a program start date on or after July 1, 2019.  

Registered apprenticeship programs receiving funding in round 1 may apply for support for additional apprentices who meet eligibility criteria.  

Apprentices eligible for grant-funded support identified through the application process.  

Registered apprenticeship programs must consider how close each apprentice is to completing their program when applying for support funds.

Awards 

Based on project need, in support of eligible apprentices, in the areas of: Related Technical Instruction, On-the-Job Training/Learning and/or Support Services.

Grant Scope

Funding provided to registered apprenticeship programs to remove barriers current apprentices face to persist and complete their program.


Grant Performance Period

Date of award through June 30, 2022.
